Early-access preview. This page may change as the product grows.

Specd is an early-access preview. This page says, in plain words, what we collect while you try it, why, and how to ask us to remove it.

The early-access list

When you join the early-access list we keep what you type into the form:

  • your name, work email, role, company or practice and where you work;
  • your phone number, only if you chose to give one;
  • that you ticked the box saying we may contact you about early access.

We use it to email you before we open, and to see which kinds of people want Specd. Email addresses and phone numbers are stored encrypted. We do not sell this information.

Trying the demonstration

The demonstration uses made-up people, firms and projects. If you were given a preview code, we record who the code was made for, when it was used and how much active time has been used, so we can limit the time. We also keep what you type into the feedback form (what it is about, your comment, the screen you were on and a usefulness rating) together with the role you were looking as. If you ask for a new code we keep your name, email and reason.

Files you upload

Files you add to a project are stored for that project and are visible to the people you share the project with. Please do not upload anything you are not allowed to share. In the demonstration, treat every upload as visible to the Specd team.

Technical records

Like any website, our servers keep short technical records (for example the time of a request, the page asked for and an error message) so we can keep the service working and safe. We do not use advertising trackers on the public pages.

Asking us to delete your information

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, write to us and say which email address you used. We will confirm when it is done. Contact: the Specd team, at the address on your early-access confirmation email.
